About the Pianist
Swing & Blues Pianist, Between Tradition and Freedom.
A former engineer, Victor Demange turned to music relatively late. Early on, he became deeply interested in the aesthetics of New Orleans–inspired styles: blues, stride, swing, and boogie-woogie. He quickly found his voice in reimagining well-known songs through the lens of early jazz—a field that would become his signature.
He first gained recognition on social media, where his videos reached a wide audience. A community of over 100,000 followers has gradually grown around his musical universe, now generating millions of views each month.
This visibility has led him to perform at numerous international festivals and to collaborate with renowned musicians, including Bob Baldori, former pianist for Chuck Berry, and Fabrice Eulry, one of today’s leading figures in traditional jazz piano.
Deeply attached to the roots of jazz yet constantly seeking renewal, he pursues an ongoing exploration of new sounds and forms of expression, while remaining faithful to the spirit that first led him to the piano.
